Who You Are:
You are looking for a senior software engineer position in a fast-paced startup, motivated to do quality work, and excited about developing state-of-the-art medical technology that will impact the future of medical care.
What You Will Do:
- As a member of the SW development team, you will work with the latest technologies in an agile development environment.
- You will write and review code (mostly Python and C++) and design documents
- Closely participate in building clinical products at various stages of the development cycle.
- You will work on a mixture of prototype and production-ready code
- You will take part in design discussions and knowledge exchange within the R&D team
What You Will Need:
- 6+ years in a software engineering role. Skills in software development using one or more of Python, C++, Bash, React, Typescript/Javascript
- Experience working in cross-functional design teams
- Understanding of Dev-Ops tools and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science / Biomedical Engineering or related discipline.
What we would love that you have (preferred)
- Full-stack experience including API design, scalable web services, and data stores
- Experience in working in a medical regulated field and under a Quality Management System.
- Understanding and experience of medical data communication protocols such as DICOM and HL7 and workflows
- Good knowledge of MR Physics
- Familiar with standard image-processing algorithms and/or deep learning basics.

You are looking for an internship/Coop in a fast-paced startup, eager to learn new technologies and meeting enthusiastic engineers.
What You Will Do:
- Assist one or more Senior software engineers in software development, prototyping, data analysis, and testing.
- You will take part in design discussions and knowledge exchange with our R&D team
- You will work on new feature development, product maintenance, and code reviews
- You will learn about software development processes used in the medical device industry
What You Will Need:
- Skills in software development using one or more of Python, Bash, React, Typescript
- You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. degree program majoring in an Engineering field with a software background
- Must have a minimum GPA of 3.2 or higher
- Must be able to work full-time during summer and a minimum of 8 hours/week during the academic year.
